  • Creative Arts Theater

“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.”

    ~Oscar Wilde

In 2010, Creative Arts Theater was formed from the minds of Tim and Cherie Glisson with a mission to bring culture and art to the High Desert. The goal was to give the local population the ability to experience exceptional local theater, as well as to offer opportunities to the youth of the community to expand their knowledge of the Arts.

  • Shenanigans' Youth Theatre Group

In 1990, Billy Jo Richards and Lee Depache cofounded Shenanigans’ Youth Theater Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the cultural enrichment of the community. Their philosophy was to provide an avenue for young people to express their talents and participate in educational activities relating to the performing arts. In 1992, Bill Thornton took over as President, expanding Shenanigans and its offerings. In 2009, leadership shifted once again, and Burt Hamrick took place at the head of the table to carry on the legacy. Shenanigans continues to give performance opportunities to the youth of the High Desert and is dedicated to the community.
